Created from microplastics reclaimed from O'ahu’s beaches, Reeflect Sunglasses represent more than just fashion—they embody a purposeful statement toward environmental responsibility.
As Brand Director, I collaborated closely with Out To See to translate this powerful vision into reality. Initially focused on naming, messaging, and strategic positioning, I guided the development of a brand identity that authentically captured the spirit of Hawaii and the ethos of sustainability. The name "Reeflect" itself symbolizes the mission—to reflect our collective responsibility to protect and restore the natural beauty of our oceans.
The visual identity communicated the journey and provenance of each pair, reinforcing a commitment to local sourcing and environmental care. In crafting the packaging design, sustainability and experience were paramount. We wanted the unboxing experience to be something remarkable and memorable. Recyclable cardboard boxes featured sleek and modern design, becoming a tangible reminder of the mission behind every purchase.
Reeflect Sunglasses quickly became more than a product—they sparked conversations, invited collaboration, and stood as a tangible reflection of positive change. Through strategic branding and intentional design, we successfully launched Reeflect Sunglasses as a sustainable sunglass line for Out To See Vision, inviting environmentally conscious and fashion-forward consumers alike to be part of a brighter, cleaner future.
